Considered as a fast and fun way to lose weight in Sydney, bootcamp programs start to heat up in gyms and fitness centres shortly before summer officially starts. Bootcamp exercises help you reach your fitness goals with the shortest possible time because it combines the intensity of a personal training session with the motivation of a group environment under the guidance of certified trainers.

What Can Fitness Bootcamp Do For You?

As a complete body workout, you can expect the following results:

    * slimmer silhouette
* weight loss
* increased stamina
* increased strength
* increased agility and speed
* improved self-esteem and self-confidence
* better flexibility and balance
* stress reduction

Where will you work out?

Fitness bootcamps are conducted outdoors in a fun-filled atmosphere which balances the rigorous workouts. Innovative, progressive and creative activities are implemented to take full advantage of the outdoor environment.

What should you wear?

Bootcamp instructors recommend that you wear or bring the following for your workout:

    * white dri-fit t-shirt or tank top
* shorts or tights
* cross trainer shoes
* white cap
* 1.5-liter water bottle
* Small towel
* Sunblock

Eating a light snack such as 2 bananas an hour and a half before you workout provides a great source of energy.

What exercises will you be doing?

Bootcamp programs usually include the following workouts:

    * cardiovascular
* speed and endurance
* strength training
* circuit training
* running
* power walking
* stretching exercises

These exercises are incorporated into fun activities like:

    * fitness games
* group challenges
* wheelbarrow races
* kickboxing
* medicine ball drills
* plyometrics
* obstacle course
* guerilla drills and
* military-style crunches and push-ups.

Who is it for?

Fitness bootcamp is for everyone regardless of age, size or fitness level. It is suitable for beginners and fitness enthusiasts who are looking for ways to break the monotony of their old routines. Beginners need not be apprehensive about coping with the intensity of the bootcamp exercises. The instructors normally allow you to start according to your intensity level and will guide you towards higher intensities safely. Newcomers are allowed to sit out some exercises or given variations in lieu of the more intense ones.

For best results, you should be able to get enough gym exercise as well at least once or twice a week. Sydney bootcamp programs are conducted for a limited time. Fitness experts recommend that you continue working out at least 5 times a week in a gym to maintain the dramatic results of bootcamp.

The latest exercise craze touted as one of the best routines for fast weight loss is fitness boxing. Sydney gyms and fitness centres, as a response, are now offering training classes which have become increasingly popular among women. The high intensity cardio exercises provide a total body workout to help you shed weight, trim, tone and reshape your body quickly.

Boxing classes can reveal visible results in as little as two weeks. Here’s how you should start:

Go to a local gym

Experts maintain that you can’t fully learn boxing from a book or a home video on your own. The best way to start fitness boxing is by going to a local fitness centre and getting a trainer to teach you the proper way to punch a bag. Without proper guidance, you could permanently injure your joints from punching hard too quickly. Moreover, improvement in fitness boxing requires regular practice, preferably on a daily basis and the gym is the best place for it.

Prepare your boxing essentials

Aside from the punching bag which you need not buy if you’re working out in a gym, you will need the following:

    * a pair of heavy boxing gloves ( ask your trainer to recommend one)
* hand wraps to protect your knuckles and
* a trainer to teach you basic footwork and boxing techniques

Use handwraps always

Handwraps are bandages that are wrapped tightly around the fingers, hand and wrist and are used to protect the knuckles from injury. Trainers advise that handwraps be worn at all times.

Warm up and stretch before working out

Warming up and stretching your muscles before exercising not only prepares you for a heavy workout but more importantly, prevent muscle injury. Some trainers suggest jumping rope for a few minutes to get your heart rate up or to fill in gaps when you find it hard to continue a routine. Stretching exercises after every workout also significantly reduce muscle pain associated with an intense workout.

Start with a routine best suited to your fitness level

Fitness boxing is a high intensity routine that can be exhausting and tough on the body. If you have never exercised before, you should first seek your doctor’s medical approval before signing up for classes. When exercising as a beginner, it’s always prudent to start slow and work your way up gradually to the ideal workout time of 25-35 minutes.

For women who are concerned about the presence of men while practicing fitness boxing, Sydney gyms also hold regular women’s only classes to cater to the growi

Getting a gym membership is a good investment for your health. Your work schedule should not prevent you from going to the gym; Sydney Cbd has a gym or fitness centre in every block for busy people like you. If you’re new to gyms, you can feel a bit uneasy about the new environment making a short introduction necessary to help you get started.
Introduction Tour
Your membership may start with a guided tour of the gym’s facilities which include:
* changing rooms
* cardio area
* weights area
* group fitness rooms
* other facilities such as the sauna, steam room, swimming pool, lounge and spa
Complimentary Consultation
Most gyms offer a complimentary consultation with a personal trainer who can show you how to use some of the exercise equipment you will be using. The trainer may also record your fitness profile and design an initial exercise routine to match your profile. While you are not obliged to engage the services of a personal trainer after the initial consultation, having a personal trainer is a great way to achieve your fitness goals fast.
Gym Attire
Wear comfortable lightweight clothing to let your skin breathe as you sweat during exercise. If you are conscious about excessive sweating, try using exercise apparel made from dry-fit materials which are highly absorbent. Use comfortable sports shoes for your footwear.
Gym Bag
Pack your own towel, water bottle, toiletries and a set of clothes that you can change into after exercise. Quality gyms will allow you to leave your gym bag in a locker assigned to you at the gym – the sensational ones will even wash and dry your gym clothes!
Equipment Use
Cardio equipment
Cardio equipment like the treadmill and stationary bike are used to increase heart rate and typically have a quick start button for easy use. Additional buttons are on hand for adjusting resistance and speed. Note: Don’t get on a treadmill while it is moving.
Weights equipment
Weights training help build muscle strength and boost weight loss as well. Start by asking an instructor or gym staff to show how to use each machine and do a few repetitions on your first session. Build intensity by increasing weights or adding repetitions when you become familiar with your body’s capabilities.
Group classes
Most gyms hold group classes to teach basic techniques and new exercises. A schedule is often provided or posted on gym announcement boards. While you may feel slightly uncoordinated in your first class, attending classes regularly will greatly improve your movement and will be an enjoyable experience.
Maximise your gym membership by exercising most days of the week and by taking advantage of the amenities and group classes in your gym. Sydney Cbd has a number of gyms in convenient locations near you.

For women who are concerned about the presence of men while practicing fitness boxing, Sydney gyms also hold regular women’s only classes to cater to the growing number of female participants.

    * slimmer silhouette
* weight loss
* increased stamina
* increased strength
* increased agility and speed
* improved self-esteem and self-confidence
* better flexibility and balance
* stress reduction

    * white dri-fit t-shirt or tank top
* shorts or tights
* cross trainer shoes
* white cap
* 1.5-liter water bottle
* Small towel
* Sunblock

Eating a light snack such as 2 bananas an hour and a half before you workout provides a great source of energy.

What exercises will you be doing?

Bootcamp programs usually include the following workouts:

    * cardiovascular
* speed and endurance
* strength training
* circuit training
* running
* power walking
* stretching exercises

These exercises are incorporated into fun activities like:

    * fitness games
* group challenges
* wheelbarrow races
* kickboxing
* medicine ball drills
* plyometrics
* obstacle course
* guerilla drills and
* military-style crunches and push-ups.

Discover The History Of Personal Training Sydney Now!

When it comes to getting back into shape, people are taking some interesting routes to that goal right now. One of the best new methods of personal training in Sydney incorporates a host of different cardio workouts, including kickboxing. Especially for the ladies out there, Sydney kickboxing classes provide a popular way to cut fat, burn calories and work on heart health. This combination of things is what has made kickboxing a staple of personal training in Sydney. You can lose weight and get an intensive workout in a way that’s a bit more creative than just going for a run.

Personal training in Sydney goes high intensity
If you know anything about the world of personal training right now, then you know that high intensity training has taken over to an extent. Today, people are doing things to get their heart rate up and they are burning off unsightly fat without having to spend too much time in the gym. This is preferable, as high intensity training has proven to be an effective means of getting back into shape. You can lose weight with the best boxing classes Sydney as you can work on long-term condition with Sydney kickboxing classes. This works especially well for those people who struggle because of a tight schedule.

Keeping your body on edge
A major issue with most personal training Sydney plans is that you don’t change it up enough. Once your body adjusts to a certain type of workout, it can become almost impossible to make any big changes to your composition. The body needs to be worked out in different ways, so that different muscle groups have to respond and the body’s systems have to change their ways. This helps people stay away from ever frustrating plateaus in a workout plan. Sydney kickboxing classes have this effect, as many of the movements that you do in these classes are different from what you would with a typical personal training Sydney plan.

The personal defence element
For women out there, Sydney kickboxing classes provide an additional bit of appeal, as well. Not only do they cut out fat with their high intensity element of training, but they also learn different boxing and kickboxing techniques that allow them to ward off any potential attacks if that were to happen. Though it is not something you will really think about, there is always the chance that you might need to defend yourself against an attacker. Kickboxing teaches some of these techniques, while making you healthier overall.

Amazing Opportunity To Get In Shape Like The Stars With Free Personal Training Sessions sydney

One of the hardest things about exercise is keeping up momentum and staying motivated. There are so many people that have gym membership cards gathering dust in the back of some cupboard because they just do not have the motivation to undertake an effective exercise routine. Read on to know the solution…

Australia March 19, 2010 – Real Deal Fitness wants to make sure that everyone has access to the amazing health benefits exercise can provide and that is why they are offering an amazing service at no additional cost to the regular membership.

Everyone in this world is keen in knowing the secret to losing weight and getting fit. It’s very simple: consistency. No matter how many times someone tweaks their diet because they think their macros are off, or how many times they change up their exercise routine because they aren’t targeting the triceps enough, nothing will work unless it is done consistently.

In other words, exercising like a fiend for 2 months only to never see the inside of a gym for another year is not going to increase anyone’s fitness.

Unfortunately, consistency is difficult to come by, unless people are accountable to someone else. This is where personal training comes in. It has been proven that a higher percentage of people use the gym if they are in personal training programs.

The same is true of virtually anything, that if one has a personal coach they achieve their goals much faster. This is because of accountability and people generally don’t want to disappoint someone they respect.

Real Deal Fitness is offering a service that basically entails every client having a personal trainer available at no extra cost who will motivate them to exercise. The trainer will monitor fitness as well as dietary progress and is a great reminder that people need to use the gym membership they purchased. Additionally, people don’t have to take appointments, as they can come in at any time during the gym’s operating hours.

Real Deal Fitness offers a wide range of classes, routines and training goals including posture care and correction, core strength and balance, flexibility, sports conditioning for events such as marathons, muscle toning, spinning, boxing, boot camps, weight loss programs and even outdoor running. With highly qualified personnel that have their clients’ best interests at heart, Real Deal Fitness offers the best personal training service available at a fraction of the cost.

A gym membership can be expensive unless you make the most out of the fitness centre’s facilities. In Sydney, gyms try to outdo each other with unique offers, memberships and facilities which ultimately work to your advantage. Today, gyms no longer resemble torture chambers and aim to provide a pleasant exercise experience.

Here are some tips for getting the most out of your gym membership:

    * Keep a regular weekly schedule

It goes without saying that a gym membership is a cost effective approach for those who work out often. Whether it’s before work or after working hours, exercising regularly on most days of the week not only maximises your membership but more importantly helps you lose weight and keep you fit. Strictly following an exercise schedule at the beginning of your program also helps you develop a workout habit that you may find difficult to break as you get used to it.

    * Add resistance training to your routine

Access to weight training equipment that you may not have at home is a huge advantage of a gym membership. Studies suggest that incorporating resistance training to your cardio routine helps you burn calories even while you rest after a workout.

    * Learn new exercises

Many gyms teach the latest trends in exercising through classes that are ordinarily included in a membership. Take advantage of these classes to keep abreast with the latest fitness moves or simply to break the monotony of a workout. Experiment with spinning, circuit training or kickboxing. Adding fitness classes to your cardio workout can give you better results and prevent gym burnout.

    * Revise your program regularly

Variety is key to staying motivated in exercise. Have a fitness instructor or trainer review your fitness program after a specific period to replace old routines with new ones that allow you to try other exercise equipment in the gym. Changing routines also help bring your fitness level up a notch while preventing monotony from setting in.

    * Engage in social events at the gym

Gym buddies can be instrumental in keeping one another focused on fitness goals. Sign up for tournaments and fitness events organized at the gym and get the chance to interact with other members. Putting names to the faces you regularly meet at the gym is also a fun way to stay motivated for those days when you need another reason to go to the gym.

Gym memberships are worthy investments for your health if you make full use of member privileges. Nowadays, you don’t have to break the bank to sign up for a membership as most Sydney gyms offer flexible memberships to suit your needs.
